4 Strings Returns With Their Classic 'Take Me Away'
Details: * THIS WEEK’S B-LIST ON RADIO 1 *
* PLUS BIG SUPPORT FROM ALL RADIO NETWORKS *
4 Strings return to Nebula with new remixes of their classic Take Me Away. The brains behind the outfit are Carlo Resoort (producer) and Jan de Vos (DJ) who have notched up some pretty impressive feats during their respective careers spanning the good part of 20 years.
Originally released on Nebula in 2002, Take Me Away became a 4 Strings anthem, reaching a respectable no. 15 in the UK singles chart and achieving similar successes across Europe and beyond. A record that rarely left a DJ’s box, Nebula has put together this tight remix package fresh for 2009.
Consisting of 9 re-rubs, Dave Darell opens this release, providing a Remix, Radio Edit and Dub versions. With his mlyo-esque electro take on proceedings, this German’s versions will be a guaranteed smash in Ibiza this summer. Dennis de Laat steps up next to the remix table, providing a rolling techy number with an errie breakdown, also making full use of the synthy riff (also available as a Dub edit). Katie J provides a thumping, bouncy, no-holds-barred hard dance Remix whilst Re-Ward rounds up this release with a euphoric, soaring Vocal Remix.
Already getting hammered by the likes of Tiesto, Armin and Sander van Doorn, watch (or listen) to Take Me Away as it reclaims the dancefloors of clubland once again.
4 Strings - Take Me (Dave Darell Radio Edit) is available exclusively at iTunes. The full 7-track remix package is released on 21st September across all digital stores.
