Kris Menace Releases 'Idiosyncrasy'
Details: Kris’ recently released debut artist album Idiosyncrasies collated all his best original works to date plus his high profile remixes from the likes of LCD Soundsystem, Moby, Underworld, Air, Metronomy and Robbie Williams. It garnered much support from a whole host of publications, fellow artists and music fans so Kris Menace returns to drop the track that inspired the album title, Idiosyncrasy.
This second single taken from the album, “Idiosyncrasy” is an Italo disco inspired work out with warm retro synth and funk drum patterns. With a selection of spacey arpeggio sounds and riffs, this upbeat track is guaranteed to lift the mood and get everyone dancing.
Kris’ other more techno inspired productions continue to wreak havoc on the dancefloors of the world with Simian Mobile Disco playing ‘Scaler’ in every set whilst the same track moved Felix Da Housecat & DJ Pierre to exclaim that it is ‘one of the best techno tracks of the past 20 years’. “Scaler” is also featured in the first P.Diddy Mixtape.
Kris has a number of new projects on the go including: another artist album; a new project for DFA; a new ‘Love On Laser Disc’ series plus he still finds time to run his label Work It Baby which has just released ‘Chicago’ by Fred Falke.
With a huge tour diary including Spain, Switzerland, Brazil, Prague and London over the next coming months, catch Kris Menace at a disco near you and see what all the hype is about.
