Daley Padley Launches Stuggle Digital Record Label
Details: Struggle Digital - a digital record label has been in the pipeline for quite sometime. Daley Padley – an upward spiralling artist tipped by the likes of Roger Sanchez and P Diddy, has been working on his label launch for months, ensuring everything is right down to the logo and the web site fonts!
The ethos is that the label will represent quality. Struggle Digital takes tracks off producers that are not well known to give them a chance to get their tracks out there. Early in Daley’s career he realised how hard it was to sign and sell tracks when he wasn’t a household name. So now he wants to switch this around and help those guys who were just like him. “There’s so much good shit out there!” he said and he feels he wants to showcase this undiscovered talent to the industry.
“I have signed some wicked guys to the label such as Romanian born ‘NTFO,’ who are remixing tracks for Mark Knight and Peter Gelderbom. I’ve also taken on some Hungarian guys called Lauer & Canard. Their style is chunky groovy house that rocks.”
The label’s first release lands on 4th February from Daley and studio partner Jon Johnson, titled ‘Changes’, which includes remixes from NTFO, and Ingo Staar who was responsible for the smash ‘Karbon’. This isn’t the first time Daley and Jon have merged talents; they released ‘Nu Skool’ in November ’07 on Suesse Records – the label that also delivered the track that got the industry talking about Daley in the summer ’07, ‘Terrace Attack’.
