Bush ll Bush Remixes:
01. The Simple Bass Edit 02. The XXL Version
Back in 1989, the Berlin Wall was pulled down, Harry met Sally and the Gameboy was born. The legendary Hippie Torales also wrote and produced the massive east coast house classic ‘You’re Gonna Miss Me’ by the Turntable Orchestra, which sold over 2 million copies. Now nearly 20 years later, Cayenne Recordings release the Bush II Bush remixes fresh for 2008.
Originally from Dusseldorf Germany, Andreas Bialek & Gregor Wagner have seen their Bush II Bush reputation rise through a number of innovative productions and remixes to their credit, including the massive ‘Piano Track’ in 2005 and more recently ‘The Road to Caracas’ which was a huge hit at Miami earlier this year.
Now the guys turn their hand to Hippie’s classic, providing two takes on the original. The Simple Bass Edit preserves the vocal around a sophisticated bassline and melodic riff, stylishly retaining the essence of the original. The XXL Version has a chunkier swing beat and also has Bush II Bush trademark chic pianos.
With HUGE support already coming in from Pete Tong, Tom Novy and Sander Kleinenburg to name a few, expect these remixes to carry on the success of this classic record.
