Godskitchen Global Gathering 2007- the Album!
Details: Set in the lush surroundings of Long Marston Airfield near Stratford Upon Avon, Global Gathering 2007 dazzled clubber’s senses with two days of inspired musical programming, mind blowing theatrics and on-site entertainment guaranteeing that Global Gathering 2007 will have provided you with a once in a lifetime festival experience. With the likes of Carl Cox, Erick Morillo, Armin Van Buuren, Sasha, Paul Oakenfold, John Digweed, 2ManyDjs, Pete Tong, Roger Sanchez and so many more besides, this event looks set to be THE dance event of 2007.
To accompany this outstanding event, Godskitchen unleash their third album to accompany the event, aptly titled ‘Global Gathering 2007’ album featuring the biggest and best tunes from this years event and the summer set over three stunning CDs.
CD1 ‘Electric’ features current biggies from The Chemical Brothers ‘Do it Again’ and Justice ‘D.A.N.C.E’ alongside the excellent Seamus Haji remix of Roisin Murphy’s ‘Overpowered’ and Pete Tong and Jo Whiley’s favourite, ‘Make My Day’ by Eyerer & Chopstick Ft. Zdar.
CD2 ‘Tech’ ups the ante and delivers what is essentially THE definitive big tunes from this summers more kicking dance floors including additions from big guns such as Paul Van Dyk with ’White Lies’, Riley & Durrant’s excellent ‘Experiment No.2’ and king of dance Tiesto with ‘Break my Fall’.
CD 3 ‘Headliners’ To help aid those patchy memories of the 2 day session, this includes festival anthems such as Calvin Harris ‘Acceptable in The 80’s’, TIGA’s remix of ‘E Talking’ by mash up legends Soulwax and hands in the air moments from Faithless with ‘Music Matters’ and ‘Punk’ by Ferry Corsten.
So there you have it, yet another blinding album from the UK’s leading purveyor of club culture Godskitchen portraying their world famous Global Gathering Festival, in the words of Big Brother’s ‘Cheesy Quaver’ Tracy ‘Lets ‘Ave it!’
