This monster 20 minute EP by Steve Pickton (AKA Stasis) under his latest experimental Detroit influenced deep funky techno/house guise Soul 223 has arrived on Soul Jazz Records..

Steve Pickton has numerous releases under many pseudonyms, releasing
material on labels such as Mo Wax, Kirk Degiorgio’s Op-Art, Peacefrog
spanning the last 10 years. As Paul W. Teebrooke, Stasis, Otherworld
Collective, Sky he has pushed the boundaries of electronic music and
Soul 223 is his latest incarnation.

His pioneering music places him alongside the other originators of UK
electronic experimentalism: Black Dog, Aphex Twin, Plaid.

As well as an artist, Pickton is also sound engineer, producer, and
even finds time to serve behind the counter. Growing up with hip-hop
and rare-groove he has also compiled albums for labels such as
Harmless.
